Our Services in Highridge
Plasterer work in Highridge covers skimming, replastering and damaged plaster repair, plus Venetian, marble effect and concrete effect finishes. Most jobs here start with checking whether the existing plaster is still gripping the wall, because that decides whether a skim will do or the wall needs taking back.
As a tile contractor in Highridge we fit bathrooms, kitchen splashbacks, wall tiling and floor tiling, and take on tile replacement and regrouting. Kitchen splashbacks are the quickest job we do, usually finished inside a day, and they change how a kitchen looks more than the cost would suggest.
As a construction company we work through Highridge homes room by room, taking in living room plastering, bedroom plastering, hallway plastering and polished Venetian plaster walls. Rooms are done in an order that keeps the rest of the house usable while each one dries out.
Highridge sits on the edge of Bishopsworth, which makes it one of the easiest areas for us to reach, and we cover it along with Dundry just beyond. Fifteen years of plastering and tiling, with Venetian plastering as the specialism. Free quotes, no travel charge, and we work 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday.

Plastering and tiling under one trade
Yes. Highridge borders our base in Bishopsworth, so a single wall, one ceiling or a handful of cracked tiles is still worth coming out for. Describe what has happened over the phone and we will tell you whether it needs a visit or can be quoted from what you describe.
A skim over sound walls in an average bedroom is usually one day. A full replaster back to brick takes two to three, because the backing coat has to set before the finish goes on. Either way, allow two to four weeks of drying before painting.
Usually yes. The high points are scraped back, the surface sealed and then skimmed flat. Heavily patterned or loose Artex is better overboarded first. Anything from before the mid 1980s should be tested for asbestos before it is disturbed, and we will say so if we see it.
