Our Services
Wall tiling starts long before the first tile goes up. The wall has to be flat, dry and set out so the cuts land somewhere sensible rather than in the middle of the eyeline. Get that right and everything else follows. See our wall tiling page for how we plan a room out.
Floor tiling has to cope with weight and movement, so the floor gets checked and levelled first. Timber floors usually need boarding or decoupling before tiles go down. We fit porcelain, ceramic and natural stone. More detail is on the floor tiling page.
Bathroom tiling is as much about what goes on behind the tiles as the tiles themselves. Wet areas get tanked so water cannot track into the wall. We tile around baths, trays and recesses, and we finish the junctions in silicone. Read the bathroom tiling page for more.
Kitchen splashback tiling is a small job that changes how a kitchen looks and makes it far easier to wipe down. Metro tiles, mosaics and large format porcelain all work, and each one is set out differently. See our kitchen splashback tiling page for the options.
Tile replacement covers the few tiles that have cracked, drummed or come away, usually without redoing the whole wall or floor. The trick is lifting them without damaging the ones around them. Have a look at the tile replacement page for what is involved.
Regrouting and resealing brings tiling back to life when the tiles are still fine but the grout has gone dark or the silicone has lifted. It is a quick job with a big difference. See the regrouting and resealing page for how long it takes.

Most customers in Bristol buy their own tiles, which gives you a free hand on the look and the budget. We are happy to tell you how many square metres you need and to flag anything that will be awkward to fit before you order. If you would rather we sourced them, just ask.
Yes, plasterboard takes tiles well as long as it is fixed firmly and the boards are not flexing. In a shower or wet area it should be tanked first, or swapped for a backer board. What you should not tile onto is fresh skim, because the tile adhesive will pull the skim off the wall.
An average bathroom is usually three to four days of tiling, spread across stripping the old tiles, preparing the walls, tiling, then grouting and sealing once the adhesive has gone off. Bigger rooms, mosaics and natural stone all add time. We give you the timescale with the quote.
Tiling has run alongside the plastering since we started, 15 years ago. Most of our tile contractor work in Bristol comes through bathrooms and kitchens, where the same job needs plastering first and tiling after. Doing both in house means the wall behind the tiles is one we prepared, and there is nobody to wait on between trades.
